DLC for the Brotato survivors-like game

Brotato: Abyssal Terrors is a premium game utility for PC coming from developer Blobfish. It is a DLC pack for the popular Survivors-like action shooter, Brotato. It follows the misadventures of its titular hero, Brotato, and he goes into refuge in the safety of the ocean, or so he thought.

Compared to the original Brotato game, the new Abyssal Terrors DLC pack introduces a new setting and new challenges for players to experience. In addition, they gain access to a new set of characters and weapons to fight a new crop of enemies.

An exciting expansion to the arena-based action shooter

Brotato is an arena-based action shooter that was borne from the burgeoning survivors-like sub-genre that blew overnight in the past few years. It was an overnight sensation that offered a frustrating yet satisfying gameplay loop that revolved around going on an all-out shooting spree against all kinds of enemies in confined spaces. In comes the Brotato: Abyssal Terrors DLC to bring even more bloody chaos to the mix.

This DLC pack sees Brotato taking refuge in the ocean, hoping to get away from all the chaos. Little did he know that the seemingly calm waters were hiding all kinds of dangerous sea creatures and monsters. Thus begins a fight for survival against 20 new waves of enemies, including elites and bosses. Pick from over ten characters and weapons, and get to fighting, soldier.

What's more, there are more than 30 new items to unlock and equip to receive various perks and bonuses to help make future runs a bit easier. As great as this DLC is, there is still no word on when it will actually come out aside from a vague 2024 release window. Hopefully, it will come out sooner rather than later. Keep your eyes peeled.

Extending the fun of a top-down shooter

Brotato is one of the best top-down shooters to come out, offering a gameplay loop similar to that of Vampire Survivors. Now, you can get even more with the Brotato: Abyssal Terrors DLC. It's a pretty straightforward content pack, but the additions it brings are welcome and extend the fun you can have with the base game. Watch out for its release.
